Braided Hairstyles Were Sure Beyonce Regrets
For years Beyonce has been hailed for her incredible talent. The 33 year old Houston, Texas native, who got her start as a member of the all-girl group, Destiny’s Child, has enjoyed incredible success throughout her career and is often considered the greatest entertainer of this era. However, Beyonce’s melodic voice and commanding stage presence aren’t the only things that have made her the queen of the Bey Hive. In 2012, People Magazine voted Beyonce as the “World’s Most Beautiful Woman,” and in 2013 VH1 gave her the number one spot on their “Sexiest Artists” list.
While Beyonce has always been an attractive young woman, in the years since she arrived on the scene, her style has undergone several changes – and no part of Beyonce’s appearance has changed more than her hair. Beyonce, who seemingly changes hair style for every performance or public appearance, usually sports a hair full of long, flowing locks. Although Beyonce’s hair is often regarded as being “laid to the gods,” (meaning that it looks good, really good) that has not always been the case. During the course of her career, Beyonce has had some hairstyles that even she could not slay, and unfortunately, many of them have had something in common. Here are the worst Beyonce braided hairstyles.
5. Beyonce debuted these long hombre style braids earlier this year. The long cornrows fall just below Beyonce’s back and while the blonde color is a nice compliment to her skin tone, the hairstyle itself is not flattering, with one fan even describing it as “awful.”

4. Beyonce sported these tiny cornrows during the early 2000. While the style does allow for all of the hair to be pulled back from her face, it also makes her look a bit juvenile.

3. This braid/twist look (along with the unicorn shirt) almost makes Beyonce unrecognizable. Although there is nothing wrong with the style itself, it does nothing to bring out Beyonce’s star quality.

2. This pre-Yonce look featuring angled cornrows gives Beyonce’s head a semi-pointy appearance. This style is far less glamorous than many of Beyonce’s more recent choices.

5. This hairstyle, which features several styles of braids, does the singer absolutely no justice. In this picture, with fellow Destiny’s Child members, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, it is hard to picture the Beyonce of today. While it is unfair to say that anyone’s hair is the ultimate deciding factor in their success, it’s safe to say that had Beyonce made this style one of her regulars, she probably wouldn’t have been destiny’s favorite child.
