Dakota Johnson Wore a Pinstripe Suit With This Woven Wine-Red Tote

Dakota Johnson’s just-got-out-of-bed coolness is not easy to emulate—but thanks to Bottega Veneta, we can try.

The actor stepped out in a full look by the fashion house while out doing press for her upcoming movie Madame Web yesterday in New York City. A master class in easy elegance, the outfit included a baggy pinstripe suit in a deep gray, composed of a collared button-up and matching trousers. To keep warm, Johnson layered on a sleek navy coat. She capped off the ensemble with chunky black boots and Bottega’s fabulous Andiamo bag: a Napa leather tote in a delicious wine-red hue.

The Persuasion star accessorized with black cat-eye sunglasses and a gold ring adorned with a white pearl. She wore her brunette hair and bangs straight down, and glowed in natural makeup, including a glossy pink lip and a nude manicure.

Johnson plays the lead in the woman-led, live-action Madame Web (premiering on Valentine’s Day, February 14), the superhero origin story of Cassandra Webb, who possesses psychic abilities. The character exists within the “Spider-Verse” made famous by Marvel’s Spider-Man. Other cast members include Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, and Emma Roberts.

Johnson has been promoting the film all over New York City this week (and was seen with her wine-red tote on other occasions). On Monday, she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she looked incredible in a strapless black velvet minidress from Wardrobe.NYC paired with sheer black tights and strappy black suede pumps.
