Early Life & Education
On June 24, 1985, Ethan Edward Klein was born in Ventura, California, United States, to Gary Klein and Donna Klein, two Ashkenazi Jews. He is American and of Jewish ancestry. His maternal grandfather was the late American film and television producer Leonard Katzman.
Ethan Klein was a student at Buena High School. Later, he pursued a BA in creative writing while studying English literature at the University of California. When he received his diploma in 2009, he was also listed on the Dean’s Honor List.
