Longoria says that she's not a vegan or a vegetarian, but she still loves to eat a ton of veggies. "I could easily be a vegetarian because I love vegetables so much and I feel like L.A. is a place that can support healthy living," Longoria tells InStyle. "I love cooking with vegetables and I have a secret for cooking with vegetables, [which] is that they don't need a lot. A lot of people cover them in cheese or cover them in a sauce, and vegetables really only need olive oil."

Longoria says that while she believes in moderation, she doesn't find herself craving a lot of sugar or carbs. "I'm definitely a moderation girl, but sometimes I won't eat sugar for three months. I'll cut out all sugar and simple carbs that turn into sugar — rice, pasta, bread. I'm not a big carb person anyway, so it's not that hard," she says to Glam Belleza Latina. "I actually love fish and vegetables. I was raised on vegetables! Anything green — spinach, broccoli, Brussels sprouts — I crave."

Longoria is open about her love of cooking. However, she does make sure to eat healthy when she's busy and working. "I love to cook. But when I'm on set, I have food delivery sent there. Before I could afford a food delivery system, I would make my breakfast and lunch, I'd pack some snacks, and put almonds in my purse. I was always prepared because I was always hungry," she told Health. Longoria says to Livestrong that she loves to eat almonds, yogurt, and cottage cheese.

Longoria says to The Cut that she goes for a run every morning. "I'm a runner, so I usually get up at seven — it depends because I always get eight hours of sleep. I try to wake up and immediately work out. I get up, put on my sunblock and running hat, and I'm off." Longoria says that she prefers to run in the mornings, before she does her daily activities, "I like to work out in the morning because the day gets away from me and I will never do it in the afternoon — I get too tired."

Longoria tells People that she likes to mix-up her workouts. ​​"I do a lot. I'm a runner, I do yoga, I do pilates, I do SoulCycle and I'm just constantly mixing it up," she says. Longoria has been a spokeswoman for L'Oreal, which means she has to take care of her skin. And she tells People that she has a lot of things that she does for her skin, especially when she's traveling. "I wear masks a lot on the plane and I scare everybody! I use lip balms. I love the little hot towel they give you, and I put that on my face. I definitely have a skin routine on planes because I fly so much."

Longoria tells People that she makes sure to stay hydrated, and that it helps with her skin. "I drink a lot of water. I got those 'Starbucks cups' that everybody has. They're the hard cups with the straw. So I just fill those up with water and for some reason, when it has a straw, I'm able to drink way more water than before. It feels like I'm drinking a soda even though I'm not!"
