Joseph David Keery is an American actor and musician. As an actor, he rose to fame by playing Steve Harrington in the popular science-fiction horror Netflix series Stranger Things, which premiered in 2015. He costars in Stranger Things alongside Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and more. Keery recently appeared in Free Guy (2021) with Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Pokimane, and Taika Waititi.

Besides acting, he also has a career in music with him first recording under the name “Cool Cool Cool”. He then played guitar and drums with the psychedelic rock band Post Animal from 2015 to 2018. In 2019 he went back to recording as a solo artist under the name “Djo”.
