The Chainsmokers & Halsey to perform at the 2016 MTV VMAs

The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards are only a few days away, and MTV announced today via Twitter that The Chainsmokers will perform alongside Halsey.

Their song, ‘Closer’, earned a number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, so this performance will not be one you’d want to miss! Also, The Chainsmokers video for ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ is nominated for Best Electronic Video, up against artists like Calvin Harris and Mike Posner.

The MTV Music Video Awards will air live from Madison Square Garden, New York, on Sunday 28th August at 9PM Eastern Time.
