Claire Danes and Jared Leto may have been the ones to skyrocket to fame from their roles on the angsty 90s teen show, My So Called Life, but it's their co-star Allison Joy Langer who has the real post-teen-success story.

The actress who played Rayanne Graff on the show, and later starred in Baywatch, married into British nobility in 2005, at which point she received the courtesy title of 'Lady'.

Langer told BreezyMama.com of her first encounter with husband, Charles Courtenay, then Lord of Devon, "The Hard Rock Circle Bar in Las Vegas – Vegas Baby!!! He was wearing a kilt – on tour with London Scottish Rugby. We smiled at each other across the crowded room…"

Now,The Telegraph reports that Langer has officially inherited the title of the Countess of Devon following the death of her father-in-law, the Ear of Devon. With her the new title, she and her husband will also come into ownership of the family's 4,000-acre estate, Powderham Castle.

My so called life, indeed.
