“Miami Vice” star Philip Michael Thomas is almost as well known for being handsome as he is for being an actor, and it appears his son, Sacred Light Amadeus Thomas, has inherited his father’s good looks.

Thomas shared a throwback picture of himself as a baby with Michael Thomas, 73, on Instagram on May 23. The picture is included with a video of Thomas as an adult, and fans say he looked good. Thomas walked toward the camera with his T-shirt slung over his shoulder while flashing his six-pack abs, and fans definitely had something to say about his appearance.

Thomas posted a caption in the video which said, “He’s gunna be a heartbreaker when he’s older” before the video flashes to him and his abs.

Fans thought Thomas was just as handsome as his actor father in the video and noted so in the comment section. One fan exclaimed, “He’s fine like his daddy!” Another added, “Damn he looks just like him too!”

“Oh wow..daddy from Miami Vice show,” said one fan. “You are fine just like your daddy,” added another. “He is definitely handsome just like his father,” agreed one.

Other fans were reminded of their crushes on Philip Michael Thomas. “We all had a major crush with his father back in the day,” noted one fan. “Oooo lawd I was in love with his daddy,” exclaimed another fan, who also left with a heart emoji. “Me too! I could not wait to tune into Miami Vice,” agreed another fan.

Philip Michael Thomas starred as Ricardo Tubbs on the hit series from 1984 to 1989 with fellow actor Don Johnson as James Crockett. The series about two cops fighting crime in Miami was wildly popular and became engrained in ’80s pop culture. The Miami Vice theme song reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 100 in 1985. The hit show ran for five seasons.

Thomas was born in Miami in the 1990s and works as a travel videographer. During a 2021 interview with Voyage Austin, he said his father and mother, model Kassandra Thomas, raised him to discover his passions and to follow them as a career.

“I was never told that I needed to go to college or find a good job to be successful, he said. “Instead, I was raised to find out what I was passionate about and follow that. The money will eventually come.”

Thomas did decide to go to college and studied at the McCoy school of business and Texas State University. While he was still a student, he founded a party bus company that he ran with his partner for seven years before deciding to become a travel videographer.

“Five years in, I could tell I needed to do something different, but I did not know what that was, so I kept asking myself the question, ‘If time or money were no object, what would I spend my time doing?’ Eventually, the answer was that I would travel and film,” he said. “So, I bought a camera learned how to use it on YouTube and took action.”

Thomas founded Sacred Shot Media in 2019 and specializes in documentary-style storytelling. He also creates short-form content on TikTok and Instagram.
